Job summary

Modern Support Services in California is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our diverse team across LA and Orange Counties. The role offers flexible shifts, including part-time and full-time, with at least one weekend rotation.

You will support individuals with I/DD in community access, personal care, medical appointments, and recreational activities, acting as mentor and advocate. Requirements include being 21+, CA driver license, background check, and HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Be 21+ years old.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License.
• Must pass a background check.
• Previous experience in human services is a plus.
• ASL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Act as mentor, teacher, guide, and advocate.
• Provide Community Access, Personal Care, Medical Appointments, Peer Interactions, and Recreational Activities.
