Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the facility throughout the day. You will respond to service requests, assist with meeting room setups, and perform light maintenance as needed.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and professional customer service in a corporate environment. You will work with other janitorial staff and facility management to ensure a safe, welcoming space.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2–3 years janitorial or facilities support experience preferred.
Experience in professional office environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of high-traffic and common areas throughout the day.
Respond promptly to janitorial service requests and spills.
Maintain entryways, glass doors, and exterior walkways; perform minor snow/ice clearing if applicable.
Empty and relin e trash and recycling receptacles.
Restock soap, paper products, and other consumables in restrooms and kitchens.
Assist with meeting room setups or breakdowns and AV support as needed.
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
Perform light maintenance tasks and report issues to the appropriate team.
Maintain a visible, helpful presence to support a clean and welcoming environment.
Follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
