Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Day Porter in Midland, Texas. The role supports custodial operations under the Custodial Manager, performing cleaning duties across building interiors, restrooms, and entrances to maintain a safe, presentable environment.

Typical tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, trash removal, and reporting maintenance issues. Shifts are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
• Must be detail-oriented and energetic

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines.
• Vacuum rugs and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass surfaces.
• Restock bathrooms and monitor supplies daily.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of trash daily.
• Replace liners and handle snow removal as directed.
• Perform periodic high-dusting and wall washing.
• Other duties as assigned.
