Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness of common areas in office buildings and other facilities. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, monitor safety, and assist the building team to ensure a well-kept environment.

Responsibilities include lobby upkeep, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and reporting maintenance needs. This on-site role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and safe work practices to support a high standard of facility operations.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual in daily tasks.
• Able to follow instructions and work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean lobby glass doors and polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe doors, walls, and tops twice daily.
• Inspect building exterior and pick up trash; empty exterior receptacles.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor; restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed; sweep stairwells and landings.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas; sweep building entrances.
• Clean marks on walls and doors; report lights out to Management.
• Policing lobby during high-traffic times; maintain floors and planters free of debris.
• Vacuum carpeted floors; dust mop lobby floors twice daily.
• Polish elevator cab railings, doors, and main lobby call buttons.
• Assist building engineer daily as directed by Management.
