Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness and order of common areas in office buildings and other commercial sites. responsibilities include lobby cleaning, restroom checks, trash removal, and report of maintenance issues.

This on-site role emphasizes punctuality, dependability, and safety. The team is supported by a Service Heart culture and offers opportunities aligned with a large building service contractor network.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality must be reliable and consistent.
• Dependability: follow instructions, meet commitments, and communicate when plans change.
• Safety and security awareness and proper use of equipment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean lobby glass doors and polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash; clean ashtrays and exterior receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily; vacuum lobby daily; sweep stairs and entrances.
• Report lights out or issues to Management; police lobby during high-traffic times.
• Vacuum carpeted floors; dust mop lobby floors twice daily; assist Building Engineer.
