Job summary

Chimes is hiring for a custodial position at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The shift is 7:00am to 3:00pm, and the set pay rate is $20.53 per hour.

The role requires compliance with agency policies, contract specs, and maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas. Essential duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, kitchens, and public spaces; descaling fixtures; moving heavy items; and supporting routine restoration work.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Clean assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public areas.
• Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals.
• Keep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soap.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Attend work regularly and report on time.
• Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures.
