Job summary

CHIMES is seeking a custodial associate for the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. The role offers an evening shift from 4:45pm to 9:45pm with a set pay rate of $20.53 per hour at the DC location.

You will perform cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance tasks across restrooms, public spaces, kitchens, and common areas, following contract specifications and safety protocols. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred
• Candidates with disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public areas
• Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals
• Keep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soap
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items
• Attend work regularly and report on time
• Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures
