Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility-cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to follow written cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Empty and reline wastebaskets and trash containers.
• Vacuum high-traffic areas and spot-vacuum offices as needed.
• Vacuum walk-off mats.
• Vacuum and mop hard-surface floors.
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains and water coolers.
• Dust horizontal surfaces up to approximately 70 inches.
