Opportunity Services in Rochester, MN is seeking an Employment Support Professional for our Day Services Program. You will accompany client work crews to local businesses, provide job coaching and employment supports in a community setting.

Responsibilities include supervising clients at work and meals, assisting with personal cares, facilitating team interactions, using positive reinforcement and alternative communication, helping with medications and transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to clients at work, meal times and other activities in the community.
• Provide quality assistance with all personal cares.
• Facilitate interactions between work teams with their work community and the greater population.
• Assist in interaction through positive reinforcement, positive programming, engagement, and the use of alternative communication strategies.
• Provide and assist clients with medication.
• Assist in the transportation of clients using company vehicles.
• Provide and assist with hooking up wheelchairs and using lift vehicles.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
