Job summary

Country Waffles Livermore is seeking a dependable Dishwasher/Busser for daytime, part-time shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with typical shifts 8:30 AM–2:00 PM or 2:30 PM. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, occasional bussing and table-resetting, and supporting the front-of-house team.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant. Shifts are daytime-only with potential flexibility based on business needs.

• Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Remove food and debris from plates, cookware and utensils.
• Pre-rinse and load dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware into the dishwasher.
• Operate the dishwasher safely and efficiently.
• Unload clean items and return them to the proper storage areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including sink areas, toilets, floors, ensuring restroom supplies are stocked.
• Maintain an efficient supply of clean dishes during busy service periods.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized and free of clutter.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, racks and surrounding work areas.
• Clear, clean and reset tables during lighter dishwashing periods.
• Bring dirty dishes from the dining area to the dish station.
• Keep the dining room, entry and bussing areas clean and organized.
• Refill basic dining-room supplies as directed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and restaurant floors.
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners.
• Monitor detergent, sanitizer and cleaning-supply levels.
• Complete closing duties, including cleaning equipment, work areas and floors.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety requirements.
• Assist servers, cooks and managers with other restaurant-support duties as needed
