Job summary

Lighthouse at Chico Assisted Living is seeking a dependable Dishwasher/Busser to join our dining team. You will keep kitchens and dining areas clean, wash dishes, and support residents by clearing tables and setting up meal service.

The role offers a 7AM–3PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with a focus on reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Training and a supportive management team are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as dishwasher preferred; willingness to train reliable candidates.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 35–50 lbs.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Warm, respectful demeanor toward senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, and utensils.
• Scrape, wash, and store heavy cookware, pots, and pans.
• Clear, wipe down, and reset dining room tables between resident meal shifts.
• Transport dirty dishes and carts from dining area to dish room.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area sanitation through sweeping, mopping, and restocking items.
• Assist culinary staff with setup and teardown for events or daily meals.
