The role emphasizes leading a team that coaches and develops staff while maintaining high standards of service and food quality. You will work across kitchen operations and dining experience, ensuring daily operations run smoothly from opening to closing while upholding the You First culture and core values.

Responsibilities

• Learns and supports our You First culture and core values
• Puts their supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run per plan with high standards
• Understands sourcing great food and following our recipes
• Knows restaurant sales and traffic goals and strives to exceed them
• Coaches and observes the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
• Understands the 10 Commitments and applies them in action
• Responds with urgency to customer and employee concerns
• Communicates and takes ownership of repair/maintenance issues
• Is certified in food safety and coaches in safe handling
• Continuously scouts for and interviews candidates to join our team
• Keeps company assets secure including POS, equipment
• Understands responsibilities of every restaurant position
• Prevents inappropriate behavior and investigates as needed
• Trains and develops team members daily
• Recognizes exceptional performance and handles deposits
• Completes admin duties and submits paperwork on time
