You will supervise both kitchen operations and the overall dining experience, coaching team members to deliver exceptional hospitality and high-quality meals. The role emphasizes implementing First Watch’s core values, driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring food safety.

Responsibilities

• Learns and supports our You First culture and core values.
• Puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and high standards.
• Understands we source great food and our recipes must be followed.
• Knows restaurant sales and traffic goals and strives to exceed them.
• Coaches and observes the First Watch Five Steps of Service being implemented at every table.
• Understands the 10 Commitments and applies them.
• Responds urgently to customer and employee concerns.
• Communicates and takes ownership of repair and maintenance issues.
• Is certified in food safety and coaches in safe food handling.
• Continuously scouts for and interviews candidates to join our team.
• Keeps company assets secure, including computers, POS, security systems and equipment.
• Understands the key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant.
• Stops inappropriate behavior and investigates as needed.
• Trains and develops team members daily.
• Recognizes performance beyond expectations.
• Accounts for daily revenues and deposits.
• Completes admin duties and submits paperwork on time.
