Job summary

Chimes in Washington, DC is seeking a Custodian to perform a variety of cleaning and building services in public and work space areas, including executive and command areas. The role runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm with a pay rate of $17.95 per hour.

The position emphasizes adherence to contract specifications, safety, and regular attendance. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, disinfecting restrooms, maintaining supply levels, and supporting special restoration

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months custodial work experience preferred
• Custodial training desired

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of assigned areas per contract specifications
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and public surfaces
• Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals
• Vacuum and mop floors, spot-clean surfaces, and dust furniture
• Empty trash and maintain clean and orderly workspaces
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items as needed
• Perform emergency cleaning as required
• Attend required meetings and trainings

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Six months custodial work experience preferred
