Job summary

Ackerman Elementary, part of Millard Public Schools in Omaha, NE, seeks a Custodian II for the day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, supply management, snow removal, and operating basic cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform manual tasks with moderate physical strength.

• Experience with cleaning equipment and basic safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and empties trash and maintains cleanliness across classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Snow removal and grounds cleaning to keep exterior areas safe and tidy.
• Input of Maximo work orders and coordination with custodial management.
• Maintenance tasks including lamp replacement and routine housekeeping duties.
