Job summary

Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Cook for day/evening shifts to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and staff according to approved menus. You will assist with salad bar, beverages, patient meals, dishwashing, and support the Executive Chef.

Qualifications include at least two years of quantity cooking, food-service sanitation certification, ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment, and completion of BLS/First Aid within 30 days; fingerprint clearance

Qualifications

Must have at least two (2) years experience in quantity cooking, a basic knowledge of modified diets
Training in food service sanitation and possession of food service sanitation certification as required
Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils
Prior kitchen supervisory experience helpful
Fingerprint Clearance Card
Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification, within 30 days of employment
Completion of Handle With Care, within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and productions sheets.
The Cook will also assist with preparing the salad bar, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, and assisting the Executive Chef and other Cooks as required.
