Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life within the safety of their home by providing special one-on-one care? Are you a warm and supportive person experienced in caring for seniors or adults? If yes, Right at Home is hiring caregivers immediately to support clients in Lake and Porter counties in northwest Indiana. Caregivers are essential service providers supporting clients with activities of daily living, aiming to keep them independent, at home, and out of high-risk nursing facilities.

We are looking for caregivers interested and available for two or more shifts per week, preferably between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: engaging in conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transporting clients, and assisting with medication reminders.
• Personal Care: assisting with meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercises, and grooming.
• Charting and Reporting: communicating concerns and changes in condition to the care team to ensure health and quality of life.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors or adults
• Warmth and compassion
• Effective communication and task performance skills
• Background check, TB test, drug screening, valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Preferred but Not Required:

• No certification required; pay is increased for licensed CNA, HHA, and DSP certifications and experience.
