Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life within the safety of their home providing special one-on-one care? Are you a warm and supportive person experienced in providing care to seniors or adults? If yes, Right at Home is hiring caregivers immediately to care for clients within Lake and Porter counties in northwest Indiana. Caregivers are essential service providers who support and assist their clients with activities of daily living. Our main goal as an agency is to keep them independent, at home, and out of high-risk nursing facilities.

Schedule Preferences:

Looking for caregivers interested and available for two or more shifts/week, preferably between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders
• Personal Care: assistance with meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercises, grooming
• Charting and Reporting: communicate concerns and changes to the care team to ensure health and quality of life

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors or adults
• Warmth and compassion
• Ability to communicate and perform tasks competently
• Background checks and health screenings (criminal, BMV, TB, drug)
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Preferred but Not Required:

• No certification needed; pay increases for licensed CNA, HHA, DSP
