Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Breakfast Cook for the Market Grille in our Omaha store. You will prep breakfast items, assemble dishes according to recipes, and keep the kitchen running smoothly from the first shift to the last.

This is a daytime, fast-paced role focused on quality food and excellent customer service. We value teamwork, reliability, and adherence to Hy-Vee standards for hygiene and safety. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and training is provided to ensure a supportive work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile.
• Prepare surfaces, ingredients and breakfast items per recipes and specs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen at all times.
• Coordinate with team for a smooth shift change and service flow.
• Assist in other store areas and handle special projects as needed.
