Job summary

Snooze is hiring a barista at our Charlotte location to craft beverages and cocktails, greet guests, and contribute to a lively breakfast service.

You will take orders, manage payments, maintain clean equipment, and help with food service and inventory in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
• County-required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers and enter them into the POS system.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per Snooze standards.
• Create a welcoming experience by learning guests' names and order preferences.
• Handle payments, process credit card charges, and make change if needed.
• Maintain bottles, glasses, coffee equipment, and bar area to support efficient drink prep.
• Serve food orders to guests at the breakfast counter and help restock bar inventory.

The Position Specifics

You will be preparing and perfecting barista beverages and crafty cocktails. You make brunch even better!

• Accurately, professionally and energetically take beverage orders from Guests and servers, recording immediately in our POS system
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Snooze Beverage Doctrine
• Create a welcoming experience for barista counter Guests by learning names and orderpreferences
• Accept Guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable)
• Maintains bottles, glasses, coffee, and coffee equipment in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including espresso/coffee makers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the breakfast counter
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
