Job summary

Snooze is hiring baristas to craft specialty coffees and craft cocktails for a brunch-forward breakfast spot. You’ll engage guests, manage orders in the POS, and contribute to a lively team atmosphere while maintaining fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista/bartender.
• Able to stand for long periods (10+ hours).
• Authorized to work in the US and at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers and enter into the POS.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Create a welcoming experience by learning guests' names and order preferences.
• Process payments with cards and cash as needed.
• Keep bar and equipment clean and organized for efficient drink prep.
• Assist with restocking bar inventory and supplies.
• Serve food orders to guests at the breakfast counter.

The Position Specifics

You will be preparing and perfecting barista beverages and crafty cocktails. You make brunch even better!

• Accurately, professionally and energetically take beverage orders from Guests and servers, recording immediately in our POS system
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Snooze Beverage Doctrine
• Create a welcoming experience for barista counter Guests by learning names and order preferences
• Accept Guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable)
• Maintains bottles, glasses, coffee, and coffee equipment in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including espresso/coffee makers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the breakfast counter
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies

Certification Requirements
