Job summary

Rosenboom Machine & Tool in Spirit Lake, IA seeks a Paint Line Operator to contribute to a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment. In this hands-on role, you will maintain product quality, safety, and workflow across the operation while collaborating with teammates to meet production goals and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify products by customer, part number, and color requirements for accurate processing.
• Load and unload components and finished products from pallets, carts, conveyors, and paint line equipment.
• Prepare components for painting by hanging parts and applying plugs, grease, masking, etc.
• Inspect painted products for quality issues and defects.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in preparing and inspecting products during the paint process.
• Manage time and priorities to maintain production flow and scheduling.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.

You'll play a key role in maintaining product quality, safety, and workflow across the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Correctly identify products and components by customer, part number, and color requirements to ensure accurate processing.
• Load and unload components and finished products from pallets, carts, conveyors, and paint line equipment.
• Prepare components for painting by properly hanging parts and applying plugs, grease, masking, and other required materials.
• Inspect painted products for quality issues such as broken plugs, missing components, paint coverage concerns, or other defects.
• Consistently follows safety procedures and demonstrates safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates attention to detail by accurately identifying, preparing, and inspecting products throughout the paint process.
• Effectively manages time and priorities to maintain production flow and meet scheduling requirements.
• Works well in a team environment and communicates clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
