Job summary

Rosenboom Machine & Tool is seeking a hands-on Painter to join our Paint Line team in Sheldon, IA. You’ll prepare cylinders and components, apply finishes, and ensure color accuracy and finish quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong attention to detail, can follow written and verbal instructions, and work well with production tracking tools. We offer on-the-job training and competitive benefits in a collaborative, local manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cylinders and components for painting by cleaning, masking, plugging, greasing, and hanging products.
• Apply paint using approved techniques to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Inspect products before and after painting to ensure proper coverage, finish quality, and component accuracy.
• Monitor paint quality and identify common defects such as runs, contamination, or missed areas.

About the Role

Do you take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and seeing a finished product come to life? We’re looking for a Painter to join our Paint Line team. In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare and paint hydraulic cylinders and components to meet customer specifications and quality standards. From ensuring proper paint coverage to inspecting finished products, you’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
