MMS is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to join our team in Goodfield, IL. This hands-on role focuses on learning maintenance skills, supporting industrial equipment and facility systems, and growing with experienced technicians.

The day shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with pay ranging from $21 to $25 per hour based on experience. On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are offered in a safety-focused, team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments

• Support equipment installations and machine upgrades
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with repairs
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and maintenance records

A Day in the Life

Your day starts at 6:00 AM with a team huddle and review of maintenance priorities. Throughout the shift, you'll work alongside skilled technicians performing equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues. You'll learn how industrial equipment operates, assist with repairs, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Every day offers new opportunities to develop technical skills and gain valuable hands‑on experience.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Preferred:

• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical manuals
