MMS is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to join our team in Goodfield, IL. The role is a day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with pay ranging from $21 to $25 per hour, based on experience.

This hands-on position offers on-the-job training in mechanical and electrical systems within an industrial facility, with opportunities to grow your maintenance career and learn from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in an industrial environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques alongside experienced technicians.
• Support equipment installations and machine upgrades.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with repairs.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards.
