Mmsteam is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate for a Caterpillar facility in East Peoria, IL. The role operates on a third shift Sunday to Friday morning, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, located in an industrial environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with repairs, and troubleshoot equipment with seasoned technicians. A strong mechanical inclination, reliability, and teamwork are essential for success and growth within MMS.

Maintenance Technician Associate

$20-$22/hr. (Based on Skills & Experience) + 4% Shift Differential

East Peoria, IL – Caterpillar Facility
Third Shift |Sunday- Friday Morning |10:00 PM-6:30 AM

As a Maintenance Technician Associate, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to keep Caterpillar's equipment running safely and efficiently. Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to lift, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, farming, construction, military, or trade school is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person!

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing knowledge preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to safely lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
• Basic computer skills are a plus (CMMS or work order systems)
• Willingness to continue learning and developing maintenance skills
