Qualifications

• Must hold valid CMA certification in good standing.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and assist residents as required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community policies, safety rules, and nursing procedures.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
• Protect resident privacy and dignity; verify resident identity before dosing.
• Maintain a clean medication cart and accurately chart medication administration.
• Report medication errors or refusals immediately to the RCC/Nurse Supervisor.
• Follow procedures for self-administration by residents when permitted.
• Observe for adverse reactions and report to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Assist with daily living activities and daily hygiene as needed.
