Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing with the State.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications as ordered by the attending physician under supervision.
• Maintain accurate medication charts and ensure proper labeling, storage, and dating of medications.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications as directed by the physician or Medical Director.
• Report any errors, refusals, or adverse reactions to medications promptly to the RCC/Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Keep the medication cart and room clean and organized; protect resident privacy during medication administration.
• Follow safety procedures, infection control, and community policies; observe and document resident status as required.
