Job summary

Pathways Community Living in the United States is seeking a dedicated Residential Advisor to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a community home. You will assist with daily living tasks, safety, and transportation while collaborating with staff and service providers to promote independence.

Responsibilities include implementing the Individualized Support Plan, maintaining a calm home environment, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience with ID/mental health field.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provides residential support for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community home setting.
• Maintains positive working relationships with participants, community agencies, medical professionals, and other entities.
• Ensures safety, health, and well-being of participants by providing residential supports.
• Assists with bathing, toileting, and all aspects of hygiene.
• Maintains a calm home environment that enables participants to live independently.
• Provides support in daily living activities and implements the Individualized Support Plan.
• Creates opportunities for participants to achieve goals and engages in community activities.
• Documents daily progress in ALIS and other systems; reports at shift end.
