Job summary

AccuTrex Products, Inc. is seeking a Gasket Shop Finisher to perform post-machining deburring, cleaning and packing for gasket components. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and the ability to handle large metal sheets up to 30 pounds.

You will review part sheets, select correct tools, count parts, and report quality and process issues. The ideal candidate has manufacturing/machine shop experience and is comfortable with hands-on

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/machine shop.
• 1 year of parts finishing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and methodically.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs from parts using hand tools, polish and clean as needed.
• Review the part information sheet to determine proper tools.
• Count parts and record quantity and date in the shop packet; move to next work center.
• Operate parts cleaning equipment to clean parts between processes.
• Visually inspect parts for machining irregularities and report issues to QA/Production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
