Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily food and beverage service with a fun, friendly, professional approach, training and coaching associates, and upholding standards to ensure guest satisfaction across all outlets.

You’ll drive high-quality service, maintain product standards, foster teamwork, and deliver memorable guest experiences while supporting leadership and operations within the resort.

Qualifications

• General food and beverage knowledge with 1+ year in front-of-house or supervisory roles.
• Experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and ensure policies, standards, and training are followed by restaurant staff.
• Fill in as an associate as needed to maintain guest service standards and smooth daily operations.
• Develop, coach, and train staff across all areas of professional growth.
• Keep equipment clean and in good condition via personal checks and preventive maintenance programs.

Restaurant Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor . In this role, you will be responsible for exemplifying company standards, behaviors and actions by providing guests with food and beverages served with a fun, friendly, professional, attentive approach that will ensure guest satisfaction beyond expectations; training, developing and coaching associates in all areas of their job role; and completing all necessary administrative duties.

Daylene's Supper Club, a captivating culinary destination nestled on the shores of Lake Delton within the exquisite Dawn Manor Resort. Paying homage to the rich history of Wisconsin supper clubs while infusing a contemporary twist, Daylene's invites you to experience a modern take on classic Wisconsin cuisine.

You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort completely , communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
• Fill in where needed (as an associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front‑of‑the‑house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full‑service restaurant is required .
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi‑lingual skills are preferred but not required .
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state‑certified proper food handling certification.
