Job summary

Discovery Point - Old Peachtree in Georgia is seeking a motivated Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in planning lessons and guiding children through activities aligned with our approved curriculum. You will help promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth while maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

You will work with a team that values passionate educators and opportunities to grow professionally through training and development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

Role: Childcare Assistant Teacher

As a Discovery Point Childcare Assistant Teacher, you will assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to the approved child care curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
