Job summary

Discovery Point is hiring a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in planning lessons and guiding children within the approved curriculum. You will help promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth while maintaining a safe learning space.

The role emphasizes caring for children, following licensing standards, and a path within a growing childcare network offering opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

Role: Childcare Assistant Teacher

As a Discovery Point Childcare Assistant Teacher, you will assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to the approved child care curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
