Job summary

Discovery Point is urgently hiring a Part-time Childcare Assistant Teacher in Riverview, FL. Two shifts are available: 7:30am-1:30pm and 12:30pm-6:30pm, starting August 3, 2025. You will support VPK teachers by implementing approved curriculum and ensuring a safe, healthy learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.

• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

Role

Childcare Assistant Teacher

We are urgently looking to fill 2 part-time positions beginning August 3, 2025 to work with our VPK students during non-VPK hours. One position is from 7:30am-1:30pm and the second position is from 12:30pm-6:30pm.

As a Discovery Point Childcare Assistant Teacher, you will implement lesson plans at the direction our VPK teachers instruct children in activities according to the approved child care curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

Childcare Assistant Teacher Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
