We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Child Care Teachers to join a high-quality early childhood education program in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children ages 6 weeks to 6 years can learn, grow, and thrive.

Working as part of a collaborative teaching team, you'll develop creative lesson plans, encourage social and emotional development, and help children reach important developmental milestones through play-based learning and exploration.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (strongly preferred/required by hiring manager)
• Minimum 2 years of childcare experience
• Experience working with children from infancy through preschool age
• High School Diploma or equivalent with early childhood education coursework, OR related education/experience
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 2 years old)
• Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field
• Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach to learning
