Level One Personnel, Inc. is hiring a Child Care Teacher in Richmond, VA. You will plan, develop and implement creative lesson plans using the Reggio approach for children from six weeks to six years old, in a safe, engaging environment.

You will join a teaching team to support self-esteem and growth, making learning fun and development-focused. Direct Hire with a 3-month duration and 7.5-hour shifts within 6am–8pm, Monday–Friday, at $18–$22 per hour.

Competenze

• 2 years minimum experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years (paid or unpaid).
• 2 year degree in early childhood education, child psychology, psychology or closely related field.
• CDA Certificate.
• Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field (i.e. Child Psychology, Children’s Literature).

Job: Child Care Teacher
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Richmond, VA
Type: Direct Hire
Duration: 3 Months.
Hours: Facility is open 6am-8pm Monday-Friday. You would have a 7.5 hour shift within that timeframe.
Pay: $18-22/hour

Job Summary

Utilizing the Reggio education approach, theChildCareTeacher plans, develops and implementschildcreative and adaptive lesson plans and provides a safe, secure and engaging environment for children six weeks to six years age. As part of a teaching team,ChildCareTeacher ensures that interactions withchildren support their self-esteem and promote their growth and development. TheChildCareTeacher makes learning a fun process that allows and encourageschildren to explode their full potential.

Requirements

• 2 Years minimum experience working with children ages six (6) weeks to six (6) years of age (paid or unpaid).
• 2 year degree in earlychildhood education,childpsychology, psychology or closely related field.
• ChildDevelopment Associate (CDA) Certificate.
• Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in earlychildhood education or related field (i.e.ChildPsychology,Children’s Literature). OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbale communications
• Ability to work in an active and noisy environment

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in EarlyChildhood Education or Elementary Education.
• Familiarity with the Reggio philosophical approach to education forchildren.
