Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Kids Excel Manager to join our Cape Girardeau Daycare team. The role supports our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!” and upholds our core values of diversity, integrity, passion, professionalism, respect, and responsibility.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of $20–$24 and full-time hours. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution; Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, positive, educational environment for students and their children.
• Monitor performance against state licensing requirements, including staff continuing education and hours.
• Develop lesson plans, schedules, and academic activities for children at the daycare.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet ratio requirements through scheduling, hiring, supervising, and evaluating employees.
• Maintain organizational priorities while adapting to changing circumstances.
