Job summary

La Petite Academy in Springfield, VA is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers and ensuring a nurturing, educational environment for preschool children.

You will manage classroom activities, implement the curriculum, and uphold licensing guidelines and company standards while building strong relationships with families to support each child’s development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.

• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to support center’s success and child achievement.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
