Job summary

Foundations Early Learning Center in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Daycare Cook for a full-time position. You will prepare meals for children and staff following USDA and licensing guidelines, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen. The schedule is Monday–Friday with competitive pay and benefits.

The role offers education support through tuition programs and opportunities for growth. Must be 18+; ServSafe preferred; background checks required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience cooking for large groups, preferably in childcare.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must be 18+; 21+ to drive the bus.
• Background checks and health assessments must be passed.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes meals and snacks for children and staff.
• Follows daily menu in line with USDA/licensing guidelines.
• Ensures safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies.
• Willing to work in the classroom to cover breaks.
• Experience in large-group food prep; childcare experience a plus.
