A to Z Building Blocks in American Fork is hiring a caring Classroom Floater to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers across classrooms. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and helping wherever needed.

You’ll work with different classrooms, benefit from paid training and growth opportunities, and enjoy a flexible schedule on weekdays with no weekends; shifts typically 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, about 20–38 hours weekly, with free meals during your shift.

Qualifications

• Flexible and dependable team player with a supportive attitude.
• Willing to work across different classrooms and age groups.
• Patient, caring, and comfortable with infants and young children.
• Previous daycare, child care, preschool, nannying, or teaching experience is a plus.
• Willing to complete required child care training and certifications; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Help in different classrooms based on daily staffing needs.
• Care for and supervise children from infants through school age.
• Support teachers with learning activities, playtime, meals, naps, and daily routines.
• Assist with diapering, potty training, and classroom transitions.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming classrooms.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
