Job summary

Core-Mark seeks a dependable sanitation associate to uphold a clean and safe warehouse environment. You will perform general janitorial duties across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and contributing to a smooth distribution operation.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM, at $18.00 per hour. Benefits begin Day 1, with growth opportunities and a strong safety culture in a leading North American distributor.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned training modules.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
