Job description

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinate, and synchronize management of the following functions:
• Inbound receiving of purchase orders:
• Maintain the receiving schedule
• Ensure proper use of automated tools (ReceiveRight, etc)
• Update of IDS inventory
• Daily cycle counts, review of out of stocks, inventory discrepancy reports
• Inventory transfers between buildings
• Review of item movement for re-slotting to optimize picking and re-stocking
• Warehouse upkeep (housekeeping) and product rotation
• Personnel management of day warehouse employees, including:
• New hire orientation and training
• Performance evaluations
• Disciplinary actions and write-ups
• Terminations
• Strives to eliminate overtime
• Strives to eliminate loss of product due to:
• Product expiration due to no-rotation
• Strives to ensure maximum fill rate by ensuring fully restocked pick slots
• Develops and enforces policy and procedures
• Communicate problems, issues, and concerns to Day Operations Manager

Requirements
