Job summary

Ginsberg’s Foods in Hudson, NY is hiring a full-time Day Warehouse Associate. No experience required. You will be responsible for receiving, unloading, sorting, replenishing, pulling and loading freight, with duties including dock clerk support and Will Call picking.

You must be able to lift 1 lb to 80 lbs and work a Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm schedule. Starting pay is $21/hr, with strong benefits and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver cases from 1 lb to 80 lbs.
• Ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in a warehouse is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, sort, replenish, pull and load freight.
• Support Dock Clerk and Receiving Clerk duties as needed.
• Assist Will Call picking and product loading functions.
• Operate the warehouse voice-pick system across Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areas.
• Build and wrap pallets for safe transport.

Ginsberg’s Foods in Hudson, NY is looking to hire a full-time Day Warehouse Associate! No experience required!

The Day Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving incoming products, unloading and sorting the product, replenishing, pulling and loading freight, and performing dock clerk duties when necessary.

To perform this job, you must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that range from 1lb – 80lbs.

Weekly Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Compensation: Starting at $21/hr.

• Receives, unloads, sorts, replenishes, pulls and loads freight.
• Supports the functions of the Dock Clerk and Receiving Clerk when necessary.
• Supports the picking and product loading functions for Will Call customers.
• Uses an automated voice pick system to pick orders from the Dry, Cooler and Freezer sections of the warehouse.
• Replenishes product in the appropriate pick slots.
• Loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.
• Builds and wraps pallets in a manner that allows for safe transport of the product.
