Grainger is hiring for a warehouse associate at our Bordentown, NJ distribution center. The role involves inbound/outbound tasks, packing, and ensuring orders ship accurately and on time. You’ll work under the DC Supervisor or Process Manager with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualificações

• Ensure correct packing and shipping to meet quality and delivery speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements as needed.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with OSHA requirements.

Compensation

This position is hourly. Pay starts at $21.15/hour [with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $22.35/hour]

• + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators**
• $1/hour for working overnight shift

Monday-Friday/PT/2:00pm-7:00pm

Monday-Friday/ 7:00pm

Monday-Friday/8:00pm

You Will

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks, like unloading, sorting, labeling, and packing, with high quality
• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet requirements for safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team

You Have

• Comfortabilityworking on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age
• The physical requirements for this position include frequently lifting, pushing, and sliding packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Abilityto receive feedback and work well in a team environment
• *For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments
• Great attention to detail, quality, and safety
