Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and update care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately.
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care.
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

FT Registered Nurse (RN), Day Shift

Northern Pines, in beautiful Cut Bank, MT, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our skilled nursing facility. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures
• Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts
• Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
• Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards
