Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Day Technician in Freeport, TX to support safe, efficient operations and training across facility personnel. You will lead on-the-job training, participate in safety programs, and assist with plant startup and maintenance planning while coordinating with contractors and vendors.

Strong CGMP and FDA familiarity is preferred. The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts and a commitment to a safe, compliant, and productive work environment within a large industrial gas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year Associates Degree in a technical field or technical training preferred.
• 6+ years of related industrial operations experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Knowledge of plant safety rules and safety policies/procedures.
• Familiarity with FDA, Food Safety, and CGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-the-job training and mentoring for facility personnel.
• Maintain trainer qualification records and coordinate training content with corporate.
• Lead safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Assist with plant startup, operations, and maintenance planning.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for site work and turnarounds.
• Document and maintain accurate records and PSSR reviews.
• Operate or assist with loading systems and energy control procedures.
• Communicate effectively among shifts to share safety and operational knowledge.
