Qualifications

• Strong understanding of plant safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Experience with FDA/CGMP exposures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-the-job training and mentoring of facility personnel.
• Reviews training content with corporate training and aligns with NAM facilities.
• Leads verification of batch production log reports and safety practices.
• Participates in maintenance planning and walkdowns with other disciplines.
• Escorts on-site contractors and ensures compliance with safety policies.

models good safety practicesPlant inspections are part of a day technician’s daily routine to identify corrective /preventative actionsParticipate / coordinate in maintenance job walkdowns with other disciplines and service providersParticipates in the planning of operational/routine maintenance tasks within the facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveriesLeads open communication amongst all facility technicians in relation to best practices, operational/facility needs, safety issues/concerns, conflicts of interest between shifts/other departments, sharing operational knowledge/expertiseCommunicate relevant topics as identified by plant management, to all shift technicians.This includes topics such as safety, human relations, training, technical information, etc.Assists/works closely with the Operations or Plant Manager around the daily facility requirements and needsAssist, train or participate with the loading of operational (corrective) maintenance work orders in MAXIMOPlay a leading role in preparations for facility Turnaround planning, preparation and safe executionConducts acceptance PSSR reviews with operations and maintenanceKeeps accurate records; diligent in documentation, record retention policies/proceduresStudying/maintaining site-specific standard operating procedures, P&IDs, PFDs, all other technical documentation as relates to operational/equipment processesEscorting on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout the facility as needed;
