Job summary

I Am Boundless in Dayton, OH is hiring a Day Support Professional to provide direct services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. You’ll work in a safe, person-centered, community-integrated setting, supporting Day and Vocational Habilitation and non-medical transportation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with insurable driving record, and a background and health screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• Two years’ experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges, including Day & Vocational Habilitation and Non-Medical Transportation Services, in a safe, person-centered setting.

What You’ll Do:

As a Day Support Professional, you’ll play a meaningful role in provide direct services – including Day & Vocational Habilitation and Non-Medical Transportation Services – for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and well-structured environment while embracing a person-centered and community-integrated philosophy. Programs are community and/or center-based, including outings with the people we support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years’ experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
