Job summary

I Am Boundless is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities and program support. The role involves providing direct care, helping with dietary, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping tasks as needed, and supporting community integration.

The candidate should be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication, and a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including writing.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and/or daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, and other supportive tasks as needed.
• Support program activities and document care as required.

What You’ll Do:

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct programming and/or dietary/laundry/toileting/housekeeping support or other support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoke and in writing.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Ability to obtain andmaintainFirst Aid,CPR- adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing. (Trainingwill be provided if not already certified)
