Job summary

I Am Boundless in Ohio is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct programming and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, nutrition, hygiene, and transportation needs while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written form.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with dietary, laundry, toileting and housekeeping tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do:

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct programming and/or dietary/laundry/toileting/housekeeping support or other support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoke and in writing.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year ofexperience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilitiespreferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Ability to obtain andmaintainFirst Aid,CPR- adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing. (Trainingwill be provided if not already certified)
